2020 年 11 月 25 日，IEEE Fellow 2021 入选名单揭晓，这一奖项代表学术科技领域权威荣誉和重要职业成就。其中，全球 282 人入选，华人学者高达 75 人，占比 26．6％，接近三成。
其中包括，清华大学计算机系教授唐杰、京东集团副总裁郑宇、中国科学技术大学李厚强、北京邮电大学马华东和合肥工业大学汪萌等。
